WorkTrust is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join a modern industrial facility in Thiva.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment within a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and perform maintenance and repair work on all electrical equipment and installations
- Conduct daily inspections and preventive maintenance of production machinery and electrical systems
- Provide immediate response and troubleshooting for equipment failures
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure continuous and safe operation
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts and materials and report shortages to the supervisor for timely replenishment
- Participate in electrical improvement and upgrade projects for new and existing equipment
- Support new equipment installation projects, learning operational and maintenance procedures
- Report issues to the Technical Director and coordinate actions for their resolution
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with other departments across the facility
Requirements
- Degree from Technical Institute (TEI) or Vocational High School specializing in Electrical Engineering
- Valid Electrician Installation License
- Computer literacy (basic PC skills)
- Knowledge of automation systems (PLC, control circuits, etc.) preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar industrial electrician role preferred
- Strong communication skills, work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
